Car Seat Buggy 2 in 1 - Combos That Are Easy to Use
Car seat buggy 2 in 1 combines two of the most important baby equipment pieces that is the infant car seat and stroller. It makes getting off and on public transport (and climbing and descending stairs) much more convenient.
One of the most effective options is the Doona infant car seat and stroller combo. It's the first fully integrated travel system in the world that allows you to change from the car seat to the stroller without causing any disruption to your baby.
Easy to Use
Parents must have a car seat and stroller combination that is simple to use. These systems let you easily change between running errands, or walking the dog before going for an outing. They also help you keep up with your child's changing needs, so that you can enjoy your family's adventures. Our testers love the ease and speed with which these travel systems glide, whether they have one front wheel or a swiveling front wheel. The Thule Urban Glide 2 Combo, the BOB Alterrain pro combo, and the Baby Jogger City Mini GT 2 Combo are simple to maneuver. But even the BOB Revolutionflex 3.0 Combo and Baby Jogger City Mini GT 2 Combo can be pulled by one hand.
Certain models are difficult to remove or attach from the base. The Doona Combo, for example, requires a two-step attachment process and straps that go over the infant carrier's bottom part. It's tempting to skip the steps, but it could result in dangerous results.
Similarly some models are hard to fold away and store making them less practical than other. Graco FastAction 3 in 1 Car Seat Stroller is difficult to fold due its massive dimensions and heavy frames. It also has a small canopy that some test users find to be disappointing. The Britax Parkway Combo Click and Go is easy to fold, with only one button and pulling the lever. This model is also a great option for parents who plan on using their car seat on other vehicles as it is able to be easily removed from the base and attached to any stroller that is standard.
Easy to Fold
It should be easy to fold and unfold the car seat, no matter if you're storing it inside your trunk, or in a closet. The best combos we've tested have an easy fold that's one-handed and sturdy enough to use for long walks. They're also easy to maneuver and glide smoothly over uneven surfaces. 2 in 1 pushchairs 've seen a few combinations that can only be joined or disengaged using straps which can be a hassle and make it difficult for parents to ensure that the car seat is secured properly.
The BOB Revolution Flex Combo is a great choice due to its robust construction and practical features, such as a large storage bin that is accessible from the front or back. SafeCenter LATCH, an exclusive feature of the BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo, makes it easy to install car seats by connecting the lower anchors and securing the straps.
It's also relatively lightweight which makes it a great choice for frequent travelers or families with multiple vehicles. Both the Baby Jogger City Mini GT 2 Combo and the Thule Urban Glide 2 scored high in our user-friendliness tests. Both come with one wheel that's simple to push with one hand. Both have one front wheel that is easy to push (one-handed!). They also come with a flexible swing wheel, which is ideal for shopping or running errands. The only downside is that they're heavy and therefore it can be tricky to lift them up when carrying children in the car seat.
Easy to Assemble
Some car seat and stroller combos can be difficult to put together. The UPPAbaby Cruz v2 Combo is one of the simplest travel systems to put together. It comes with a helpful guide. Other models, including the UPPAbaby Minu and UPPAbaby Vista V2 Thule urban Glide 2 and Baby Trend Snap-N-Go EX Universal were also fairly easy to put together. The BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo however, is difficult to assemble. It requires two steps connecting the lower anchors and using straps to protect the bottom of the carrier. It's also very heavy, which means it requires two hands to click the carrier into the base and detach it from the base.

In our tests we took about 5 minutes to put the UPPAbaby Cruz v2 together. This is relatively fast when you consider how much time is saved by not having to remove all of the individual pieces. Most of these models have an easy process for attaching and detaching the toddler's seat, but there are other options as well.
